1953 Ahmad Oulabi established OULABITEX CO. with the startup of a textile printing mill in Aleppo.

1965 Oulabitex advanced to production and moved towards yarn preparation and warp-knitting.

1975 Enlargement of the company by investing into a new production for decoration fabrics.

1985 Oulabitex started exporting products to the world-wide market with an average production of 18.000.000 m² per year.

1990 Oulabitex transformed its activities to a large number of jacquard and lace products, reaching a production average of 34.000.000 m² per year.

1997 Oulabitex began to develop the upstream line and invested into the production of textured yarn.

1999 Oulabitex started exporting ready-made products to the American Market. 2000 Oulabitex increased the production capacity of textured yarn to 36.500 tons/year to be the biggest mill in Syria. 

2003 Oulabitex established the most modern spinning Mill in the region, rising high in the world of yarn manufacturing.

2006 Oulabitex started the production of woven curtains, with varieties of fancy organza, voiles and satins along with its finishing downstream. 

2007 Oulabitex invested in a new weaving mill to start up a production of raw fabric for bed-linen out of 100% cotton.

2008 Installation of a complete finishing mill for cotton fabrics, to be able to offer a wide variety of 100% cotton bed sheets (bleached ,dyed and printed).

2009 Oulabitex opens an own subsidiary in Mötzingen - Germany, to complete the marketing apparatus and to be present in the main markets.

2009 Oulabitex starts the confection of bed-linen and succeeds in being an independent producer by unifying all production steps in one company. The vertical structure of the company is completed, forming us to be a strong partner for the production for home textiles.
